Voter Registration at Hyde Park Street Fair!

Hyde Park Street Fair will be here in no time! Indivisible Boise Chapter One has reserved two booths at this year’s fair Friday, September 14-Sunday, September 16 to register voters. Fair hours are 4-9:30 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
This is a gold mine for registering voters–we got over 250 registered last year and hope to double that with two booths in 2018!
Shifts are:
Friday, September 14
6:30-9:30
Saturday, September 15
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
12:30-3:30 p.m.
3:30-6:30 p.m.
6:30-9:30 p.m.
Sunday, September 16
10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
12:30-3:30 p.m.
3:30-6:30 p.m. (including tear-down)
We need three people per shift at each booth and there are 10 shifts, for a total of 60. Shifts are first come, first serve. Volunteer by posting to this event or by e-mailing IndivisibleBoi1@gmail.com and requesting the above shifts. Please sign up for as many days as you can!
For those who are experienced at voter registration, you’ll jump right in–if you haven’t previously done this, we are happy to train you to prepare for the fair! We’ll have all materials necessary, and will have a canopy table, chairs, and drinks.
